What to expect depends on where you’re seated. A few rules apply everywhere at the venue; the Pavilion and the lawn each have their own policies below.  No matter where you are seated, the following are never permitted anywhere at the venue: professional cameras or any equipment with a telescopic lens, smoking or vaping, and weapons of any kind. Any violence will result in immediate ejection and the involvement of the Oak Bluffs Police Department.

Outside food and drink are not permitted; bottled water is available for purchase.  Please leave behind any bag larger than a purse.

Lawn seating is general admission — a relaxed, picnic-style way to take in the show at The Tabernacle. To keep the lawn safe and enjoyable for everyone, please review the following before you arrive.

Performances take place rain or shine, and tickets are non-refundable due to weather.  Lawn seating tickets do not include access to the Pavilion, even in the event of inclement weather. Please dress for the forecast.  Admission and access to the area under the Pavilion at The Tabernacle is restricted to ticket holders who have reserved seats in that section.  Lawn seating does not guarantee a view of the stage, but you’ll have no trouble hearing the music.

Blankets and low-profile lawn chairs are welcome. Please set taller chairs toward the back of the lawn so you don’t block the view for guests seated behind you.  All bags will be searched before entry into the lawn area.  Be mindful of your neighbors when choosing a spot, and keep aisles and walkways clear.  Tents, canopies, open-sided shade structures, and similar large overhead coverings are not permitted on the lawn.  Umbrellas are welcome when rain is forecast. Each umbrella may be no more than six feet across and must be positioned upright rather than at an angle; staked umbrellas are not allowed.

Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted on the lawn.  Alcohol is not permitted.  Coolers are welcome but will be opened and reviewed for compliance with the policies above.  No cooking, grills, or open flames of any kind.  Please carry out everything you carry in, or use the trash and recycling receptacles provided on the grounds.

Ball playing, frisbees, and other sports activities are prohibited inside the lawn seating area.  Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, motorbikes, and other wheeled recreational vehicles are not permitted.  We love dogs, but they are not permitted inside the lawn seating area, with the exception of certified service animals.
